Frequently Asked Questions
After visit the contact page for a free consultation, dates and timelines for project completion will be arranged in accordance with the schedules of both the client and myself. Depending on the project, an upfront retainer may be required upon booking.
Depending on the project, an upfront non-refundable retainer of 25% to 50% of the final cost may be required upon booking to reserve dates and commission work. The value of these retainers will be automatically deducted from the final payment sum. Some projects may require payment in full prior to the delivery of any unwatermarked content while payment for other projects may be invoiced in accordance with a net-30 payment delivery schedule.
Upon booking, clarification will be provided for which of these payment procedures apply to your specific project.
Accepted payment methods include Interac E-Transfers, PayPal, bank transfers, traditional cheques and cash. If you need to use cash or traditional cheques for an upfront retainer, please contact me directly during the booking process.
Yes. In accordance with regulations in Canada, GST and HST will be added to the subtotal cost of any service.
If you have delivered payment for a booking retainer and need to postpone an in-person shoot with at least 48-hours notice, no additional fees will apply and the retainer will be carried on for the first postponing.
If you have delivered payment for a booking retainer and need to postpone an in-person shoot for a second time, even with 48-hours notice, the shoot will need to be rebooked with a new retainer and the original retainer will not be refunded.
If you have delivered payment for a booking retainer and need to postpone an in-person shoot with less than 48-hours notice, the shoot will need to be rebooked with a new retainer and the original retainer will not be refunded.
Reasonable leniency will always be considered with regards to cancellation and postponing policies in the case of extreme circumstances. Exceptions to the postponing policy may also be considered with regards to extraneous circumstances such as weather, but only if discussed between the client and service provider prior to booking.
Although I am based in Calgary, I travel for in-person shoots quite often and am happy to accommodate for shoots outside of the city or province so long as travel costs are compensated for by the client.
No travel fees apply for in-person shoots within Calgary's city limits.
As long as I am available, I do not charge any additional fees for in-person shoots on weekends or late nights. Additional fees may apply for in-person shoots on national holidays.
Content completed for projects and commissions are always delivered through downloadable Google Drive folders, enabling convenient access and downloading. Files are generally stored on these folders for 30 to 90 days prior to removal, so it is recommended to download the deliverables to your local storage after receiving them. I always keep permanent backups of content locally, so feel free to reach out to me if you ever need to re-access content after it has been removed from the digital cloud.

Most projects that involve editing or design include up to 3 rounds of revisions with the original project cost. Additional fees may apply for revision requests exceeding 3 rounds.
Additional fees may apply if a project revision requires an in-person reshoot.
